Build your own Custom Shape

Develop and produce your own skateboard shape

Not every project fits a standard shape. If you need your own deck outline, we review your dimensions and specs and work out how the shape can be built with our production setup.

And we don’t just look at the outline. Length, width, wheelbase, nose, tail and concave all have to work together technically.

Custom Shapes - FAQ

Which dimensions do you need?

For a custom skateboard shape, we need the deck’s basic geometry. That mainly means overall length, max width, nose, tail and wheelbase. The more precise your specs, the faster we can check technical feasibility. Haven’t nailed down all the dimensions yet? No problem. We can also develop the shape together and dial in the geometry step by step.

Can I send a technical drawing or CNC file?

Yes. A technical drawing or CNC file with your shape data is a great starting point for production. If the outline and key dimensions are already defined, we can check the file and build the shape accordingly. If anything needs adjusting, we’ll sort it out directly with you. All you have so far is an idea, a sketch or a reference? We can work with that too and develop the shape together all the way to a production-ready file.

Do I need my own press mold?

No, an existing mold isn’t required. If your project needs its own mold, we can design and build it in-house to match the technical requirements. That makes shapes possible that wouldn’t work well with existing molds. Whether an existing mold will do or a dedicated one makes more sense, we’ll figure out based on shape, concave and the dimensions you want.

What quantities make sense for custom shapes?

That depends heavily on the project and how custom the construction is. Custom shapes work for small runs as well as larger production orders. A completely new geometry or a dedicated mold means extra development and setup work. That’s why we always look at quantity, specs and intended use together. Just send us your planned quantity and technical specs, and we’ll tell you which approach makes the most sense for your project.
